The purpose of this event will be to celebrate my new appointment with work colleagues and other external networks in the same area of research interest. Also, to strengthen the research network of inverse problems and mathematical modeling for all participants, especially, for Uclan staff and research students, including myself, and my new Ph.D. student who will start working soon on the 'Efficient Deep Surrogate Models for Inverse Problems' project which was proposed by me in collaboration with Professor of Computer Vision, Bogdan Matuszewski, from the School of Engineering at the University. Professor Bogan is looking forward to contributing to this conference and invites his research team and encouraging them to take an active part and present research posters. This will enrich everyone's understanding of what can be possible done at the University of Central Lancashire in the field of inverse problems and mathematical modelling. It will also widen our vision on how can we grow a newly established team in Mathematical modleling UCLan. Since most staff in the School of Natural Sciences at UCLan do not teach on Wed afternoon, this conference will be a great opportunity for all mathematicians and staff and researchers working on cut edges between interdisciplinary are to spend a day focusing on the research area.
