Accommodation

Please use this form to book accommodation at Ribby Hall Village. Cottage bookings on site can only be paid for via card on this online system.

There is also a range of local accommodation available, if you prefer to book this directly. Please see more information on the conference webpage 24th International Labour and Birth Research Conference - UCLan. 

There are three accommodation options available on site. 

Accommodation at the venue is subject to availability and must be booked via this booking form by 31 May 2025. Accommodation may be available on site after this date; however, you will be required to book this directly with Ribby Hall Village and pricing is likely to be more expensive. 

Full cottage – 3 bedroom - £240 per cottage per night

Room options include 1 room with a double bed, 2 rooms with twin beds.

Can accommodate up to 6 people (three pairs sharing rooms).

Facilities:

·         En-suite bathroom in the double room.

·         Separate shared bathroom available.

·         Shared kitchen and living area.

·         Parking for one car (other cars can use the nearby central site parking).

Please note:

·         the bedroom doors do not lock

·         there are only two sets of keys available per cottage.

·         the lead booker will be responsible for ensuring both sets of keys are returned at the end of the booking, or you may be charged a replacement fee. 

• you are asked to share your preferences on the booking form, however, although we will do our best to accommodate these, we cannot guarantee that this will be possible.
• you will need the names and email addresses of everyone staying in the cottage to make your booking, as well as a list of who is staying in each room.

Before booking this option, please speak with your colleagues and agree who will be staying in the cottage, and who will stay in each room.

Room in a Cottage – double or twin - £120 per room per night

Room options include 1 room with a double bed, 2 rooms with twin beds. 

Only two rooms in the cottage will be booked out. You will be sharing the cottage with another delegate who you may not know.

Facilities:

·         En-suite bathroom in the double room.

·         Separate shared bathroom available.

·         Shared kitchen and living area.

·         Parking for one car (other cars can use the nearby central site parking). Parking to be provided on a first come, first served basis and parking next to the cottage is not guaranteed as part of this booking.

·         there are only two sets of keys available per cottage.

·         you are responsible for ensuring your cottage keys are returned at the end of your stay, or you may be charged a replacement fee.

·         you are asked to share your preferences on the booking form, however, although we will do our best to accommodate these, we cannot guarantee that this will be possible.

Spa Hotel

Prices range from £190 per room, per night to £401.00 per room, per night

Bookings should be made directly with the Spa Hotel by calling 0800 085 1717. When booking quote the conference name to receive a 10% discount.

Accessibility

If you have accessibility requirements for the accommodation, we ask that you contact us ahead of booking so we can review your specific requirements with Ribby Hall Village – [email protected] 

All cottages have a stepped entry; however, a ramp can be provided on request. Some cottages include a step-in shower.

There are a limited number of accessible rooms available at the Spa hotel. Please contact them directly to enquire.

I understand that:

The bedroom doors do not lock, and the University of Central Lancashire and Ribby Hall Village accept no responsibility for theft or damage to personal possessions or unauthorised access to bedrooms.

There are only two sets of keys available per cottage and the group staying in the cottage will need to manage who has these independently.

As the lead booker I am responsible for ensuring both sets of keys are returned at the end of the booking, or I may be charged a key replacement fee. There is only one parking space available next to the cottage and any other cars will be required to park in the central site parking.

Although the payment will be made to the University of Central Lancashire, the booking of the cottage is made with Ribby Hall Village and the University of Central Lancashire accepts no responsibility for any issues with your booking or the accommodation.

Any queries regarding accommodation during your stay should be direct to Ribby Hall Village.

One Room in Cottage - Statement

I understand that:

· the bedroom doors do not lock, and the University of Central Lancashire and Ribby Hall Village accept no responsibility for theft or damage to personal possessions or unauthorised access to bedrooms.

· I will only receive one set of keys for the cottage.

· I am responsible for ensuring the set of keys are returned at the end of the booking, or I may be charged a replacement fee.

· there is only one parking space available next to the cottage and any other cars will be required to park in the central site parking. Parking will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

· Others staying in the cottage may be staying for a different period of time to myself, for example arriving later or earlier or staying for a shorter/longer period.

· I and my guest (if applicable) should only access the cottage common areas (kitchen, lounge, shared bathroom) and one bedroom in the cottage. I agree not to access any of the other bedrooms at any time.

· In the rare event of limited cottage availability, I may be allocated a room in the on-site motel (if this is the case, you will be contacted in advance of the event – rooms in the motel are very limited and are not available to book separately – the motel does not offer a kitchen or lounge area).

· although the payment will be made to the University of Central Lancashire, the booking of the cottage is made with Ribby Hall Village and the University of Central Lancashire accepts no responsibility for any issues with your booking or the accommodation.
