About the School

Over the last 40 years, Lancashire Law School has developed an outstanding international reputation for delivering graduates that enter the professional world with the skills employers are looking for. Teaching sessions are small and personal, vibrant and intellectually stimulating, as well as being practical. Our aim is to provide you with a superlative student experience so that you can achieve to the best of your potential and graduate well equipped to make an impact in the professional world of your choosing.

The School offers a full portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, in both law and criminology. Our undergraduate law courses are all validated by the legal professions as qualifying law degrees enabling students to pursue the professional side of training as either a solicitor or barrister. Our criminology courses provide students with an opportunity to critique the criminal law and criminal justice system from a social, economic and cultural viewpoint and to pursue careers within the broader public and community based services. The School also offers a wide range of Continuing Professional Development opportunities, many of which are tailored to individual stakeholder needs.

The School aims to:
