Urgent Medical Care Course (UMeCC or UMeC Course)

Description

Course for health professionals delivering urgent care in a rural setting or in an urban area where access to hospital care is restricted.  Course is delivered as a combination of online content followed by a 2-day block of scenario-based learning, usually based at our Westlakes Campus in Whitehaven, Cumbria.

Course starts with an introductory webinar and continues online with videoed lectures and case based discussions in our virtual learning environment that students access at their own pace. It culminates approximately 10 weeks later with the 2 day on campus block of scenario based learning.
