Climbing Development Course

28-30 April 2025

A 3 day course which will introduce the participant to outdoor climbing. Progressively you will learn the fundamentals of climbing on natural rock including interpreting guide books, using PPE, bottom roping and belaying, placing protection, building belays and seconding vdiff climbs as a minimum.  This course plus personal climbing consolidation is likely to meet the climbing prerequisites of the PGDip mountain medicine course.
