Optometry Adaptation Course

Course for internationally qualified optometrists who wish to apply to register with the General Optical Council.  The course design is tailored to your identified individual learning needs with content delivered at various points throughout the academic year.

Demand for optometrists continues to increase in the UK, with excellent opportunities for a fulfilling career across a range of settings, many of them offering flexibility and progression.

This course is tailored to your individual learning needs to enable you to apply to register with the GOC.  Learning content is delivered in a variety of media, including, online learning, workshops, case-based discussions and practice in our on-campus Eye Health Clinic.  All learning is aimed at delivering the very best care to patients by understanding their needs and the latest treatment options. 

The course fee may be between £2500 to £10000 depending on the GOC requirements. Your final fee will be confirmed on completion of application and can be paid in instalments at £2500 per payment.
