Making a Donation DescriptionThank you for supporting the University of Central Lancashire Foundation. Charitable donations of any size can make a difference. Thank you for your generosity. Please make a single gift using this secure online form. You can select where to direct your support, then enter an amount to donate and press ‘add to basket’. The University of Central Lancashire Foundation has full charitable status and is exempt from registration under the Second Schedule to the Charities Act 1993. Unrestricted: Your unrestricted support helps us to provide excellent teaching facilities and learning opportunities to current and future students. It also helps to expand our research, reduce student hardship, and makes a difference to almost every aspect of University life. Harris Bursary: Over a third of our students come from working class homes and amongst them are individuals experiencing extreme financial or social hardship. The Harris Bursary Fund was established as a charitable fund through the University of Central Lancashire Foundation to provide emergency help and to prevent these students from dropping out of higher education. The Harris Bursary Fund relies heavily on charitable donations – both personal and corporate. Donations to the Fund are eligible for Gift Aid. The help offered is limited but nevertheless provides much needed practical support and can be the catalyst in helping the students refocus and continue in achieving their goals. Often all that is required is help with essential study related items such as textbooks and computer equipment. Over the years the Fund has been successfully awarded to help hundreds of our students in difficulty. School of Medicine and Dentistry Hardship Fund: specifically supports students on those programmes.
