Experimental Photography Workshop – Rayograph

Description

Monday 13th November 18:00-20:45

A rayograph is named after the American artist Man Ray. He was a significant contributor to Dada and Surrealist movements. He was best known for his pioneering darkroom photography work, particularly noted for his work on ‘rayographs’.

He created these images without a camera by placing objects on a sheet of photosensitised paper and exposing it to light.

This workshop will allow you to experiment with objects and acetates to produce black and white rayographs prints.
