• Communication and evacuation decision-making in expedition environments
• Comprehensive travel and expedition differential diagnoses and treatments
• Legal considerations and planning for expeditions
• Media enquiry management strategies
• River crossing safety techniques
• Collaboration with mountain rescue teams
• Alpine trip planning that incorporates insights from the guiding team, specialised nutrition guidance, and physical preparation with a specialist physiotherapist.

You'll also have the opportunity to join our main student group for Module 3, fostering valuable networking with peers and esteemed teaching staff. Enjoy a flexible Wednesday for personal exploration—be it walking, climbing, or sightseeing—or opt for a guided walk with one of our mountain leader clinical lecturers.

Although we update the programme annually, if you have completed module 3 in the past three years, most content will be familiar, although delivered in a different format.
